[Feature Video] Magic Man - Mana Deprived - the #1 Magic: the Gathering Site in Canada
Science Bear, a local production crew featuring Broken City School of Magic players and non-Planeswalkers alike, entered this film into the Edmonton 24 Hour Filmmaking Competition.  The mockumentary was written, shot, and chopped in a day.  It "stars" Tyler "Celebrity Gunslinger" Fraser, Ian "Recovering Planeswalker" Day, Scott "I Have No Idea What You're Saying" Townend, Ian "The Doctor" Baker, Doug "PKR" Potter, Jay "Boosh Tuharsky" and Brian "Thanks for Being a Good Sport" David-Marshall. Episode 12 - GP Toronto Stories - Mana Deprived - the #1 Magic: the Gathering Site in Canada
KYT and Scott had a lot of fun at GP Toronto and they certainly came back with a bunch of stories.  In episode 12, KYT talks about how he got blown out by Cerebral Eruption while Scott discusses how he revolved his Sealed deck around two rares.  KYT also gets into how difficult it is for a start-up site like Mana Deprived to breakthrough.  The boys then wrap up the show with some Gameday talk.  Perhaps their best episode yet, this also guest stars Adam Styborki. For the last couple of months now, Daniel Pham has definitely made some efforts to grow the MTG community in Ontario.  The MTGOntario YouTube channel is currently filled with MTGO videos of himself and different players from his area.  During GP Toronto, Pham had a few special guests staying over at his house. One of them was none other than 2010 Hall of Fame inductee Tomoharu Saitou. Today, you are going to get to see Pham drafting in an 8-4 with the assistance of the great Saitou.  Enjoy! (more)

Dan Kramer went into GP Toronto looking to make some noise.  He succesfully made Day 2, but after a bad beat and a dismal 2nd draft, he came home with nothing.  Well, almost nothing.  During the first draft, he discovered a new SOM draft archetype (RG Infect) that he thinks everyone should be opening their minds to. If you listen to the #1 Magic: the Gathering podcast in Canada, the Eh Team, you should definitely know who Smi77y (Jesse Smith) is.  You should also know that many people think Smi77y's ideas for Constructed are out of whack.  Allen Reynolds, however, has faith in Smi77y, so when Jesse posted his GW Tokens deck during the early morning of Provincials, Allen was all over it.  He also managed to top 8.  Here is his story...
