Extended Overview
As promised in my last article, today I'm going to take a look at M11 and how it changed the new Extended. We’re still at the very beginnings of the format, but some of the new strategies have definitely bigger ambitions than to just be a fossil that will be laughed at in a couple of years. (more)

Hey all, and welcome back to the lab! Watch your steps this week: I've tracked a bunch of sludgy tar through the usually spotless lab atrium. Good thing I have more than one atrium, or atriums. Well, here we are at the end of another constructed season, and the Still Had All These team acquitted themselves fairly well… except for yours truly, of course. G Pelly had two top 8 finishes, including a final, and Dwayne and Kasey both got to the top 8 in Portland. Dwayne also had a cash performance in GP Houston. The combo is simple: cast Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and use it to copy Pestermite. The token untaps a permanent—Kiki-Jiki—and the 2/2 Goblin is free to make another copy of Pestermite. If you have ever been to a decently large constructed Magic tournament, where you have to register your deck, you have been asked the question in no uncertain terms. What's in a name?
